During the war of indepence the militia forces in the South used concealment, surprise, and other guerrilla tactics to much advantage against the British and loyalist forces.

The tactics they used are commonly called asymmetric warfare.

Asymetric warfare is a term describing the tactics used when two forces of unequal strength meet and the weeker must resort to "guerilla" tactics.

Asymmetric warfare is increasingly referred to as "terrorism" by the superior military force enduring these tactics.

Therefore by Military definition George Washington was a terrorist.
