Can you see the Great Wall from space? Nope. That was a myth started by the Chinese. Remember that they had never sent a man into space until last year. Turns out you can't see a wall that is only a few yards thick from space.

An advisory board in China has now recommended that Chinese textbooks remove all references to being able to see the Great Wall from space.

Jeez. Next thing you know elementary school kids will no longer be taught that George Washington couldn't tell a lie and that an apple hit Newton on the head.

As a representative of the demacommie conspiracy, I sold that information to the ChiComs for two commercials for Bill Clinton, three Grande Lattes from Starbucks, and a draft choice to be named later.

Edited to add (in the spirit of full disclosure) my (mostly) red 1987 Chevrolet pickup truck, which is an incredible chick magnet and gets me laid all the time.
