Can you see the Great Wall from space? Nope. That was a myth started by the Chinese. Remember that they had never sent a man into space until last year. Turns out you can't see a wall that is only a few yards thick from space.

An advisory board in China has now recommended that Chinese textbooks remove all references to being able to see the Great Wall from space.

Jeez. Next thing you know elementary school kids will no longer be taught that George Washington couldn't tell a lie and that an apple hit Newton on the head.
