Just wanted to pop in and say hello! It was great seeing you (you looked more than mah-velous!!!) and Serge @ the show. Looking forward to seeing you again in Florida this August.
Sus - you looked RADIANT! It was great to see you looking so happy - and I'm glad we had a chance to talk!

But then, I've managed to go years without actually seeing it, even in a mirror, I promise it will be much smaller in Phoenix, Xmas screwed up my diet, but I'm back at it again, lost 4 pounds in Vegas, guess all that schmoozing was good for me.

 And to think I'd been warned off this board for so long - what a welcoming group over here. I definitely have to get in on this PHB thing next year - looks like one of the classiest events at the show! Well done all - Oprano has really come into its own. Heather!!! Great seeing you - what an amazing transformation! Hopefully we're all finding out the secret to success here and the web women will be hailed as the incredible shrinking web women by the next show - lol Looking forward to August already!

Oprano is a wonderful place for people with intelligence....you belong here! Stupid people don't survive all that long though...... The PHB was made for people like you Kath...a much quieter and smaller party...where you can meet new people and enjoy the evening, and not fight the crowds of unknown pimps and hos for an hour just to get a drink. And we have a lot of fun!! Good to see you here!! |

lol - Opti I missed that meeting, had too much business to do on the expo floor and in dinner meetings, etc. I hear there are more planned for the summer show so WATCH OUT guys! lol
Actually - for those who went to the show - you will notice that a lot of the "leading ladies" on the web are really slimming down. I guess the old webmaster diet of Mountain Dew & Cheetos has gone by the way-side. Heather is a new woman - hopefully there are some pics, she looks incredible! Susanne is AMAZING - not only has she lost a lot of weight but she's just glowing! I'm about 1/2 way there (I lost 50 pounds last year) - and should be to my goals by the summer show... Plus - a lot of other women in the industry (and guys too - let's be fair here) have been really taking better care of themselves and are looking good! It's really nice to see everyone looking a lot more healthy!

You looked great, too,keep it up. I expect to be down at least another size by Phoenix...not ready to strut anything in Jamaica yet, lolI highly recommend getting the convention crud, though..I came home needing to alter my clothes again. Good thing I have an excellent and cheap seamstress. I'm still wearing my size 28 clothes..they've been recut and I should be able to keep them all the way to size 10 or so. Saved me thousands of dollars on new clothes. Summer's gonna be tough though, none of that stuff's really salvageable...I guess Serge will need to send me his Nordie's card :P |
