We were the ones that introduced this technology in 2000. (Easily verifiable) We first demomstrated it publicly in 1998 on a show that reached many interested people and generated several serious partnership offers. Ifirends/webpower decided on doing a poor rip-off of what we were doing when Al Hadhazy and I couldn't reach an accommodation. Their idea was to make a Chinese remote control vibrator with a low cost and high sales price, make money hard and fast at the surfer's expense. Our idea was to create a new technology with immersive Virtual Reality and Haptic peripherals. What we did, and still today, had never been done before. (Except in the movies, and in literature) We're still here, they aren't. Draw your own conclusions. "surfer having to wear some kinda contraption. " -are you referring to the Virtual Sex Machine, or a VR Headset? Of course you must insert your penis in the VSM (That's where the haptic part comes from) but the VR headset is a completely unrelated immersive device that is not part of our technology, but IS compatible with it. Our system is not a "remote controlled dildo" anything. It recreates an experience physically as it happens on whatever screen (Monitor or headset) you may be working with. I assume you prefer manual masturbation release to videos as opposed to an automated procedure. Certainly up to you. But I'm afraid you may not completely understand the concept, and if that's the case, our marketing is severely lacking. If I can't make an industry insider understand the technology with a glance, we have a harder time making the average surfer understand. I find it incredibly difficult to judge how best to portray the technology in a way that clearly describes it to someone that has never seen it before. Your initial impressions are very helpful in guiding our efforts. Much of what we do is exactly this: educate people on a new concept that formerly only existed in the imagination. But my initial assessment is not meant as an indictment on the entire online adult industry. the TECHNOLOGY result that has resulted from "porn on the internet" has advanced very little. If the internet has had any kind of great innovation, it would be in the area of distribution and access. It has truly flattened the earth and made instant access to all manner of information. My comment was limited to the parameters set out by the thread starter's (RCourt64) request, and subsequent comments narrowing that thought.
