I think it just means free sites and TGP sites have to find out what new script Google is using and then create new scripts for SEO. This is very similar to the old software copywrite protection game.

that is a pretty old article....edit: not really old, but the changes that they talk about have been worked out

most terms are back to normal now

many are suggesting that google worked something new into it's algorithm for porn terms

Ditto, I'm not targetting any single word searches as part of my SEO plan.

I'm also not relying on SE's for a huge amount of traffic. I'll take whatever they send, but bookmarkers and niche relevant trades are far more reliable sources of traffic.
