Digital Camera Shopping & Advice?

[Lawrence Connor]

I want to get a better digital camera and I am considering

the new Canon Powershot A710 IS - which is 7.1 MP

but more than that (7 MP) is the image stabilizer (IS)

(it also has a 6x optical zoom which is pretty good too)

that I would want it for (image stabilization) this new model,

it has the IS in the model designation for image stabilizer (image stabilization)

a pretty good digital camera I think, what is your opinion of the Canon Powershot A710 IS

Never used one, but those reviews rate it as a good unit.
I never did receive my free virtual beer. http://www.oprano.com/msgboard/showthread.php?t=47968
I had to buy my own

[Lawrence Connor]

Thank you for your reply
Sorry to dissappoint you
but virtual beer isn't real
it's just the pics you see

[helix]

lol to the virtual beer.
I should have said the sales reviews for the camera look good, but I haven't been able to read any user reviews. I think the camera is too new.

[Lawrence Connor]

Yeah it just started being sold this month.
