Default The Salaff Case

Ok got to read Xbiz interview with Salaff and I can understand his grief and how injust sometimes things are but....

the report is lacking one important thing where is salaff's house in veracruz

it is smack in the middle of town and next to a park...

and this is not a suburb in fact it is a hot (high crime) area and very poor area. he could have chosen a house in the hills but this was not the case.

so to just say shit don't go to latin america because i was fucked because i was shooting porn where access to minors was easy (we are talking about a 10 foot wall with trees next to them kids in that area know how to climb a tree) is a bit unfair.

and i saw the house i drove by it, it is that accesible. i have seen motels down here that have harder access to them.

however i do agree with him about laws and how crewl and unjust all the law is but why fuck with it in the first place if you do things low key you would have not had problems but a little town where you see hot chicks coming in and local women getting paid to shoot porn will attract attention.

with a 4x4 and a house in a mountain non of this would have happened.

my 2 cents it is a bit unfair the to generalize when not all cards are on the table.

i mean it is like having a house in the middle of homestead Florida back when homestead was small..

or in livingston alabama.

anyways thats that

however do a little research the article i saw today is an interview but there are other articles about it on xbiz and they all fail to mention where the house is located (in detail).

it is basically like having a honey pot next to bees.

as usual something more than meets the eye. seems the whole story is never told.

I do have a question though.
Why is it in Latin America peple really really like places including
Brazil
Costa rica
and spa cash is even headquarted in Argentina.

But everyone I know that has went to Panama leaves and is not happy with what happened in their experience down there.

I know there are still a few companys that operate some satelite stuff out of there, but content is very very hard to shoot from there
and the laws are not favorable to porn.

so why would any company go to a country where they were in danger and had to sneak and jump through hurdles

as oppossed to going to one of the other ones where things are much easier and just as cheap?

sort of like why several people in the states that shoot porn either are in florida or california. instead of someplace like Oklahoma or Alabama

well the only experience (negative) that i know off in panama is because staff was not as responsive (hardworking) you have other people down here that have done business for years and no problems hell i know of people that even went through the invasion.

i do not want to mention them because i am not sure if they want to be mentioned.

content shooting is always an iffy issue but then again if you want to do it there are thousands of easy legal ways but when you want to be smack in the middle of a town to shoot porn you raise questions this is the same for any place in the world

the thing here is that there was a fuck up and that fuck up was the location of the house..

the other experience in panama was staff well you did not pick staff right...

but to generalize because of your fuck up is too damn easy.

What are some benifites people would recieve from doing porn in Panama ? is it legal there now? how would one go about shooting content down there Legally as you mentioned?

I am looking at starting a latin girl site
what advantage would it be to me to come to Panama over Costa Rica? or Argentina ?

as far as otehr business it is already well established here that offshore protection in places like Panama are not a safeguard as the primary business would ned to be offshore and the principles would need to be offshorre for it to actually qualify for the protections.

is there a way to incorporate down there and get benifites of offshore protection without living there? or would one need to live there in order to get this benifit?

For someone that is not Latin American in birth or heritage, what advantages would there be to living in a country like Panama and working in the porn industry ?

Shooting porn content has never been ilegal. Mr. Salaff asked this and got a letter saying that it could be done and all he needed was to get a permit. According to case files he never got the permit but then again he was not charged for shooting porn he was charged for putting porn in front of minors (kids climbing up trees) which is very similar to a lot of cases that have been around USA. So the question of is it legal now does not apply.

Costa Rica and Argentina you have the dollar against their coin which is a benefit. However if you decide in acces then panama is more centralized so it is easier to fly models here if that was needed.

You can create an offshore company with local principals and laws of panama would take in effect not the states. That is called a Sociedad Anonima (anonymous society) where principles are x and x but owners are y and z. again the protection is not from locals all established companies that setup here are looking for protection from their home country.

Yes i believe i answered that one already.

Advantages:
more bang for your spent dollar

no questions asked by anyone as long as you do not fuck up and i already explained what fucking up means.

again my point is it is not fair to just say fuck that don't go when you were not playing the game by the local rules and get fucked.

hell look at it this way he got off easy... if he were to be fucked by say a 2257 law that is made to fuck everyone he would still be in jail.

yes jail up there is a hotel but fuck it is jail not a 5 star hotel LOL

I had people shoot for me in Bazil a few years ago for about 6 months,
I hired a local to set up all the shoots, we shot in the main sex motels when we were in san paulo, and out in the jungle on someones farm we knew when we went up to reciefe.

It's cheap, the talent is there and you can find some real beauties..

Spa cash is in Uraguay I think, The owner is from there anyway.

we interviewed this guy on the Humpday radio show two weeks ago, and we also broke the news of his arrest last year...

He didnt break any laws...it is a simple case of someone with a hard on for him...

and the prison system he has been in, according to Fred, makes Midnight Express look like a resort...

Fred did personally email me last week with this update...

The judge in my case has sent my file back to the prosecutor with the admonition to “amplify and explain” the charges as she can not find anything that makes any sense. This is what my lawyer has been arguing for 13 months! Now, Panama’s Attorney General has accused all the prosecutors of the country saying that they do not know how to conduct investigations! This accusation was made public today, along with the revelation that conditions in the country’s jails do not meet human rights standards! The Attorney General, Ana Matilde Gomez also announced that all prosecutors must visit the jails on a monthly basis to endure that justice is being done and cases are followed through in a timely manner.

I have been talking about these problems through my websites, fredsalaff.com and realpanama.org. for a year and it is somewhat gratifying to see some results at long last.

Donations are sorely needed to continue the legal battles (I am still not free), to pay for medicine and dental work, and to just survive!

[please] contribute (even$5.00 goes a long way in Panama)

Thanks to all for your continued support!

Bro..no offense but your point...I just dont get it. "easy access to minors" Every location we shoot at has a park, school etc somewhere near it. The "where" is irrelevant the Law is what matters and from what I can see he didn't break any laws.

still he would have not gotten in trouble if the house was in a far away place man. i know he did not break any laws. there is no written law about it either. in fact his case was droped because there was no child molestation which is the law that they tried to apply.

but why be in the middle of a town with lots of people around

thats why he went to jail man cause he did not get the point.

in a place where there is no law against doesnt mean you can just do it.

and it all depends on how near you call the word near i mean 5 feet away 1 sidewalk away 3 miles??

and what time you shoot during school hours during weekends when kids are playing.

anyways i see where it is all going.

again i feel sorry for the guy but just to say flat out all latin america is fucked doesn't work

I think what Inabon is trying to say is that no matter where you go you have to take into account of not pissing off the local politicians because one way or another they CAN find a law or just harrass you if they want to so you should do as much a spossible to minimize the chances of that happening. Nothing a politcian likes more than an easy target to score points with the public.

Yes that happens here in the USA all the time .

However , even a liberal like me feels safer here than in a third world country .
look at the guys from hoollland that were shot in the back twice in the philipines.

is all that really worth the money you save?

and is it that big of a profit margin increase?

LOL getting shot in a different country happens all the time man.

not because they were in porn. if i go to say to liberty city and show off cash by paying locals to shoot porn movies i will get shot in 3 hours.

thats what happened in philipines i know of other people that are living like kings in philipines by just playing it safe
