have you heard this hasidic jewish reggae singer/rapper
Matisyahu, and he is ridiculously good. This is a few months old from when he was on the Kimmel show, but for those who haven't seen it....

I'm with you on the ridiculously good part.
i've been listening to his CD for a little while now, good stuff even my dad likes him. He came to town in Aug and the show was sold out. check out his website http://www.hasidicreggae.com/
