Info on Osiris & WT's area

Update from 08/30/05
Alright, so after reading through 48 pages of information on the St Tammany Parish area, and looking at a WWLTV update on that particular parish where the president updated on the cities & didn't include Hammond, I double checked with XxXotic on what parish it is in... now I can read through the proper Parish updates... lol

Here's some quotes from the forum that the news website put up, these are quotes from people who are not in Hammond but have managed to make contact with people -inside- the area & have received info about the area that News reporters can't obtain... (Although I'm not sure how large the area is or how many trees surround Osiris's house)

"My family is right outside Hammond, and it seemed to be much less severe than what we're seeing in New Orleans, etc. The max sustained winds were supposed to be less than 100 mph by the time the storm got that far north, and though the phones are not up right now, when I spoke with them earlier today, they were doing Ok - no electricity, of course, but Hammond is a much better place to be at a time like this than closer to the Lake or New Orleans, etc. I'll post if I hear anything more."

....Still neither of the 2 who have been trying to reach Osiris & WT have been able to get through to them by phone. Both of them heard ringing, got excited to talk to one of them only to get the message that the cellular customer was not available.

Thanks Sin.... That helps a good bit ... still would like to hear from her and Renee also and I am real sure Renee wasn't affected to much by the storm but I can't get a call in so I am walking the floors.....

Yes, I'm hoping their dwelling is intact as well. I should also try to get some work done tonight when I get home from my other job, instead of flicking through news page tabs on Opera & hitting refresh until I crash my comp lol
