this weekend we worked with a girl who's doing this job for 2 months now - and we were the first who didn't tried to touch, lick or fuck her. she was a nice girl, so it's not that we wouldn't if we met her in a club or so - but business is business. the girls talk with each other and there are already content producers in czech rep. where some girls refuse to go because of the stories they heard from other girls.
so why can't they pay a whore when they want to fuck instead of taking advantage of the situation that girl is in? some girls even told me they were not payed if they didn't do blowjobs to the photographers.

or are my morals too high?
sadly, many many many people aren't in this business for the money...
they can't get a real woman, so pick up a camera and a fancy light rig and consider them date gifts like you and I would consider roses and chocolates...
And of course you believe everything a model tells you.
They lie through there teeth, I know because they lie about us.
I was told I tried to fuck a girl by a girl I had never met. She was standing next to me at the time telling the story, ignmorant of the fact the girl she was telling it to was my model and my lover.
My friend introduced her to me, asked why she did not remember me.
I spend 1/4 million a year shooting and married to a model I fucked on a casting, been married 7 years and got a daughter.

since i gained a bit experience i do of course not believe everything - but when 10 different girls that do not know each other tell the same story about the same person i see a pattern. you not?
There are assholes who will use the power of their position all over the place. Not just photographers.
Most of the time, there isn't a damn thing you can do about it, but if you keep your eyes and ears open, there will come a moment of opportunity and if you recognize it, you can help one of those models (or several of them perhaps) get a payback.
karma will eventually take care of most, but sometimes karma channels through certain avenues
We're always strictly professional as well and really go out of our way to make the girls feel comfortable and secure.
We normally try to pick our's straight off the vine so to speak, but I've been amused more than once when dealing with models who have shot for others in the industry.
We've learned that we have to modify our southern terminology sometimes in those cases. If we offer you a soft drink, we refer to it around here as a "coke", no matter what the brand actually is. Seems some of these models think Coke is something other than a soft drink.

"Not interested, sorry."

Yeah, working with completely fresh models is much better than one who's done previous work. We get anything from the Coke problem, to the "I've got an appointment in an hour that I just can't miss for anything and if I don't show up there's gonna be people looking for me so you'd better not try to fuck me" line.
And there's always my favorite, girls who apparently have done some posing for someone else to "make them a website" and did it without charging for their time. Of course, they never saw any money.... convincing them that we really do pay cash up front can take some doing.

Now you are putting a fucking big smile on my face today!!
I think there are lots of issues, and they encompass various faults one both sides of the camera.
Firstly, an awful lot depends on who, what, where, etc. the recruiting was done. An awful lot of these shoots are not done with truly "professional" talent. Some are drugged up girls looking for their next fix. Some are used to selling their bodies for money, but not on camera. Others are just trying to fuck with their parents. Depending on which of these you are talking to, you can get widely varying answers on what goes on with "content producers".
Secondly, as was already pointed out, and awful lot of "content producers" are just guys with cameras looking to get laid. But an offshootof that is people who "honestly" got into the content business because they were in some "lifestyle" and figured it was a good segue into the content business. they knew girls who were also into that lifestyle and were willing to do content. Of course they played with the talent, because they were "playmates" before they were "talent". It's tough for these folks to figure out where the line is between business and fun.
Third, let's face it.... there's a lot of scummy people in this business. If they are going to fuck their business partners, affiliates, etc., why wouldn't they fuck their talent as well?
Fourth (and I'll stop here, even though there is much more) whenever I've been to ANY webmaster event where there was any talent present, it was fairly obvious that the majority of web guys had one thing on their mind...... seeing if they could get thier dicks into any of the talent. Why should the guys shooting the content be any different?

I noticed that during shows and webmaster functions, that most of them try to fuck whatever is female.

excellent post - with a lot of truth.
luckily over here we don't have the problem that girls do drugs. most of them are just students or whatever, if you meet them on the streets you would never guess that they do that work.
This isn't Hollywood. They're whores - they fuck for money...on film even which means they're willing to capture facials with random guys for fuckin' posterity. Even most hookers won't cross that line. Not that there's anything overtly wrong with that, but you aren't dealing with the upper echelons of society here. Have a drink, nail em’ up the ass if you can, and worry about professionalism with the people that pay you for the content.
Not fucking them because they're insane is one thing but because of "professionalism"? You aren't shooting fuckin' high school portraits here.

Preach on Bro....... And How about shutting the fuck up while filming video while they are at it.
Just a curious question how many times have you had to create the top of a models head because the photographer took just the very top off??

Content producers work for their customers. They shoot what their customers want them to shoot. If the customer wants them to shut up, they shut up or they don't get paid. Most customers seem to want the yak-yak, I don't know why.

we're shooting mostly solo girls - and they are not whores. they are students or work as a hairdresser. they do this job cause they can earn in 1 or 2 days what they normally earn in a month. and that doesn't include any other services than just posing. and your attitude is exactly what i don't like.
Content Producers do keep their hands (and everything else) to themselves.
The trouble is every fucking nit wit with a digital camera suddenly thinks he is a "content producer" - no what you are is a freaking loser that can only get laid by paying some crack whore 50 bucks.
Originally posted by creams@Apr 14 2005, 04:27 AM Some say pixmasters are content producers
I think this covers that

But Paul isn't it true that you have had your share of more than just photographing some models?
I mean I bought sets from you where you are joining the action, one example is set #9207 with Dana Mandatova and "Celeste".
