Not really because unless you live in DC a whle shitload of it doesn't come out of your pocket. It comes from the people of DC's pockets and they have to use money they don't need to be spending on a party rather than for their own residents security, infastructure, and other needs. When the feds pass down an unfunded mandate it fucks the taxpayers of that state/city, whichever the case may be, and the taxpayers in that state get fucked over by the feds for soemthig they didn't ask for, need, or want.
