Now I must say this is not a comparison I'd have ever come up with in my own mind.
One could liken icq more to a telephone I would think, and boards, where people talk freely and in groups, would be much more of a fraternity sort of atmosphere.
Let her stay - her "magic/substance" is already gone... now Confusy is just an empty shell, which might get washed ashore from time to time on the Oprano beach, and if you put your ear to the shell, then you might be able to hear the voices inside rambling to each other...
