I think he's doing just fine there grogan. With a 60 day holiday in Jamaica and Cuba and a last minute flight to Atlanta, he seems to get around at will.
Hey guys...its both of us that need to be thanking you for taking a little time out to come on. We appreciate the support and the mutual love.
It aint been easy doing this ya know... she gets up at the crack of dawn and I spend the day usually scrambling.
Its the little things that mean something to me like people listening to what we both have to say...people coming up to me at a show and telling me that we have the most respected radio show going...or me warning a potential advertiser that while you may have paid for an ad it doesnt mean your safe if your doing something scummy and them saving thats the value of advertising with us.
Both of us only hope that what we are doing is helpful and that at least one person appreciates the trouble we are going thru. God knows its not for the money! Its real goddamn hard though when the people you are trying to do a service for cant even participate in anything we do. We offer giveaways...nobody wants em. We offer free commercials...who takes us up on em? People from other resources. So as best as I can tell -- and CJ will tell you her view...not many give a fuck about any free goodies or hype. Im not so naive to think that people that listen in are there to hear my voice. I can only figure out that the Aussie accent is carrying the show.
Anyhow...I guess we will continue to do it as long as people will listen. Weve both been called the "mouths" of Oprano. I can't think of a better place to be associated with and truely....this aint ass kissing or because shes pissed off at me...I cant think of anyone else Id rather do this with.
Maybe its the tension between us that keeps yall coming back? Or your waiting for a train wreck to happen! I answered some questions for Klixxx magazine a month ago and one of em was why me and why her. Its pretty simple...it would be boring to do a show with someone that agrees with you all the time or is a yuck yuck.
You ever listen to a morning drive time show where the woman is there as the sidekick? BORING!!!
