I liked pushpills idea so much I thought Id kick it off.

But instead of a specific wine I wanted to hear what you Like and Dislike about types of wine.

Alot of people get turned off to a varital because they get a crappy bottle or 2 that they never buy it again

I Love good solid full bodied merlots for the fruit and subtle tanins (dryness) and I alos like Verry tanin Cabs and Bordeaux's

I dont like fruity white zins and blushs.

I like sweet or mellow wines. I don't like "oaky" wines. But l like wines with body - whites are too "light" for me - like drinking alcoholic water, IMHO. White Zins and blushes aren't much better. But I do like some dessert wines that might be considered "white". And I can't usually drink more than one glass of champagne unless it's mixed with OJ.

Dunno, I'm no longer going. There's only one person who will be there who can cause me any kind of grief or would even care, and I know now for sure she's going. No sense to risk it.

I have no taste at all - I am a cheap date when it comes to wine.
I love all the Arbor Mists at $3.69 a bottle. ahahahahahahaha
I like sweet drinks.... don't like dry.......

Merlots & Cabs. For the past few months I've been find good deals on 2000 Sonoma reds. Grand Archer -$13, Rodney Strong $10, etc. Good stuff for a good deal.

2000 dropped in price compared to 2001 for a reason...lousy crop in CA that year, too much rain
