Ok, the newest Oprano moderator has a connection with various pornstars etc and has proposed bringing in a new pornstar each week or so to yak up the board.
I'm thinking one night a week I'll get a Porn Star in here and let surfers and members here ask questions and shit. This board will be very active and won't stop till leap year.
Personally, I think that would attract more surfers and less webmasters and would tend to dilute the good info on the board, but that is just my opinion.

I think Oprano should provide a service to both the surfer and webmasters. The porn star thing is a marketing tool. go play the part. chats, contests,ect..
GFY helps no one. This is the time to really make orpano shine and get back to Icon Status. The internet in forming into a whole bunch of little community groups. 6 months from this day you will be online doing your favorite hobby with new found friends. me I will be playing online poker with a whole bunch of contacts I will make here in the next 30 days.

Remember "Behind the Porn"? Doomed to fail from the start. Even had the co-host been one of the most charismatic of porn goddesses (such as Jenna or Asia), there was nothing that could be done about the host himself who thought up such mind-bending questions down as "so how does it feel when you do anal?"
I am not saying that the problem is the porn stars. Many of them are incredibly intelligent and intriguing to talk to.
The problem is that the only thing that men can think of when they see or talk to one of these stunning ladies is that for some reason she'd like to spend the entire time talking about sexual excretions... both her own and how she prefers to ingest her partner's.
I thought the point was to make Oprano the end-all be-all of webmaster watering holes... not to simply make it a hole.
Turn it into one of KB's visions and you'll make it a hole. After all, look at the astounding success and wealth that KB has amassed following his vision. *cough*

Funny you say that. I am coming out with a adult star fourm. If you don't want porn stars fine with me. I'll be in the gambling side of this site 90% of the time. I'm going to provide my gambling surfers and poker affiliates a little entertainment while we close deals and teach them how to get the most out of what they can offer. However, I own enough good quality content to allow me to look at ass anytime I want, as do most of the people who frequent this board. I don't know about anyone else (well, actually I do, but far be it for me to speak for them) but I don't come to Oprano for T&A pics (well, Serge's T&A pics are always intriguing, but thats a different story).
As far as the pornstar thing, it just does not personally appeal to me.

I own gigs upon gigs of content with naked women showing off their goods, many of them Playboy models and Penthouse pets - as an adult webmaster I look at this stuff every day and no, it doesn't excite me to see some bare ass posted on a free host.

When folks are working and they go into the break room, no one wants someone walking in throwing spreadsheets in their face. This is their space away from the work that they have to stare at all day.
