Best digital camera $ can buy?

BradShaw · 10-26-2003

After an unnamed friend gave me tylenol with codine at 8pm for my headache, I was sleeping for several hours. I think a few of them may be on the take from laura!

I awoke to my camera some how at the bottom of a swimming pool. I figure with my rich friends, they can buy me the best $ can buy!

Good news is that is 4:30 am and I am refreshed, and everyone else is sleeping!

i have sampled a good selection of digital still cameras and i think you couldn't go wrong with any of the canon cameras.

for snapshots and such i use a canon s40 and i love it.
it also has an available waterproof housing which sounds like it would be especially useful to you

Brad you might want to look into the video cams that also act as still-photo digital cams. Dual purpose with less to carry around and very handy.
If you get one, make sure it's got 3 CCDs (chips), as many lines of resolution per inch as possible, and yes - as many megapixels as you can get.

The *best* site to compare cameras is http://www.dpreview.com
