Forgive the copy/paste....

I loved Willy as did many others and was proud to have called him my friend..
I don't know why he felt compelled to take the actions he did,
and tho we could not help him in life.. we CAN help those left behind and those who will suffer Most from this tragedy

I have been in contact with everyone and I think it's time for us to band together like we did in days of old and help out those who need us....

We are planning to do another auction to help Dora and the boys...

there is no insurance and they are going to need assistance to get thru this.. both emotionally and financially...

Please contact me via ICQ if you have anything you would like to donate for auction..... 83599165

any and all donations will be most welcome

Lets all band together and be a family again.... and help each other like we use to do....

I'm sorry I'm not more eloguent at the moment, I am still just beside myself over such a loss.... he was a wonderful guy and I loved him very much

Count me in on whatever.

Already hit up PC.

Tragic.

I remember fondly late night calls and good humour with him and Rowdy on the phone back in the day at CONDOM/Netpond.

I'm cannot believe how much this has come as a shock.

My deepest condolences to his family and all his friends

There's no money and no insurance....it would be wonderful if y'all can contribute to this auction...maybe make DoraP's misery a little easier to bear....

He hanged himself in the kitchen...I can't imagine waking up to this.

This is so very sad. Maybe it is a wakeup call for others who are feeling depression. Get help! It is available. Depression is very serious, and often doesn't not go away on it's own.

Oh My - that is horrible

Pattye - you KNOW you can count on me to come to the auction in full force! I'll be there ready to bid... I hope we can have some worthy competition (just a prod to get some more involved in helping for the cause, not for the competitive spirit) show up for some old fashion bid wars to help out Dora and family.

you guys are the best...

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get over here and Raven thank you for that "copy paste"

losing WillyB was a terrible shock to me as well as many others..
Everyone has been very generous and thats good to see these days...

I have over 120 ICQ windows currently open and flashing and it's late, I'm about to drop,

if you haven't heard from me today, Please hit me up again in the morning
I am reeling from the news of John Morgan today as well as WillyB from yesterday...

I have spoken to the hospital that John is in and even spoken to John..
the story is sketchy at best right now as to what actually happened, but Sunny told me on the phone tonight that there is a possibility he was hit by a car will post on this in that thread

If any of you have anything to donate, please let me know or post here... and for those of you like Marc, honey, I welcome your bids!!

Dora and the boys are going to have a really rough time of it and maybe the little bit we can contribute will help them at least financially...

Thanks to all of you...

and just so you all know... cause I would never want anything to happen and not have the chance to tell ya...

I care a lot about all of you.. I even love many of you...
so take care.. be careful and give those you love a hug and tell them how you feel...

What worries me is that this kind of thing happens in threes.
Please folks, be careful - and if you need an ear to vent in or a shoulder to cry on just give me a holler. No questions asked.

I was wondering the same thing. I say a post where Dokk would not be able to assist, so maybe they are having a hard time getting the mechanics put together.

We have been thinking about doing an auction at Cybernet (like we did in Miami) to assist IMPA in the Acasia fight. Think we can get get 50 people to come to a dinner/auction again? We raised about $100,000 in 3 hours last time.

What's the truth - if any - to the rumor that most of those "big dick contest" auction participants never ever paid up? I read that somewhere recently (Oprano I think?!?) and had always heard the rumor on the boards as well...

Anyone have the inside scoop on this? I'd hate to think that all those causes people promoted, pushed and claimed to support never were supported.

I had one large one and 2 small ones that never were paid. I think it was probably worse on the online auctions, because we collected most of it on the spot with the credit card machine. No, Serge - I am not naming names - Saving it for my book

Things moved so fast - we did not keep track of the runners-up, which probably would have maybe solved the problem. My first auction... I learned a few things.

Better than I'd heard/feared... looking forward to that book!

Anxious to see what you guys do with this San Diego Cybernet next year Fay... hoping it will be a true culmination of all things learned over the years... I still say New Orleans was one of the best! And this So Cal location couldn't be better!
