Acacia Technologies Licenses Digital Media Transmission Technology to Subsidiary of New Frontier Media

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2003--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG)(Nasdaq:CBMX) announced today that its Acacia Technologies group has entered into a Webmaster License Agreement, and Content Provider License Agreement, with Interactive Gallery, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of New Frontier Media, Inc. The License Agreements, covering Acacia's DMT technology, resolved patent litigation initiated by Acacia against Interactive Gallery, pending in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Acacia has now entered into 37 license agreements for its DMT technology.
