I don't understand....SOMEONE has to be to blame for these kids shoving happy meals down their chubby throats...it can't be the lazy parents who don't want to cook a decent meal!

Speaking as a lazy parent who shoved Happy Meals down their kid's throat
, I can say that EXERCISE has a lot more to do with it than what they eat.
Kids today are fat because there's no more PE and recess in the schools. When I was growing up, we always had 2 full freezers of beef, and my mother fried anything she could get her hands on. Any vegetable was cooked all day in fatback (I was in college before I knew green beans were green and not grey!). Sweet tea, kool aid, cokes and whole milk were the only drinks served in the house. Granted, we weren't "thin", but we weren't the size of kids today! Even in elementary school there was an hour of recess where we played kickball, dodgeball, redrover, etc. In HS, we dressed out for gym, and you didn't get out of it unless you had a note from your Dr.
My kid ate every crappy junk food known to man and beast, and he's thin as a rail due to sports. And my ass is as big as a house because of the lack of them
