Dunkin Donuts are okay. I always say I never met a donut I didn't like, but Krispy Kreme's are decadent rings of goodness and although I avoid them as much as possible so I don't end up being an FFN, they tempt me far more than DD's.

As for grease.... well, that's what makes a donut good. Some of the best donuts I've ever eaten are the beignets at Cafe Dumond in New Orleans with a nice cup of their chicory coffee. Talk about yummy.

Chicory was substituted in the South during the Civil War when Coffee was difficult to get due to naval blockage by yankees.
