Carol got "outed" to everyone back in 1997 when a local newspaper decided to do an article about her. It must have been a slow news day because she made the front page of the major daily with the headline, "Porn in the Suburbs". They even used a picture from the website!
The story was put on the wire, and both the Edmonton Sun (where Carol was born and raised) and the Calgary Sun (where we lived for a number of years) picked it up. My family in Montreal and her family in Edmonton all got the news  It was a blessing actually as we no longer had to hide anything from anyone. |
