I decided for the first time ever to make cookies from scratch over the holidays.
Many successes, many failures. I am especially pissed and followed the directions perfectly and having things turn out badly. Turns out, for some reason, any "normal" cookie, I can screw up. Butter cookies, sugar cookies, and the chocolate chip ones were a disaster. Yet, the weird stuff, came out awesome! Italian lemon-iced cookies, jam-filled and orange-almond biscottis all rocked. (Ok, time for Nick to say I'm gay!) Wow! My 2000th post!!!! |
