Do you ever type up really long post about something then never hit submit?
Something annoys you so you vent it out in a post but then realize how many people your going to insult when its posted.. or you find something really amusing so you type it all out thinking how funny it is.. only to decide that if you post it everyone will assume your self medicating.

Constantly! I usually put them as an outgoing message in my email proggie and sometimes I'll go back after a few deep breaths (which could take 10 minutes to 2 days :P ) and either post them or edit and post them.
It's funny when I go back and clean out the outgoing mail every few months or so and find some zingers that were never posted - here and on other boards.

happens all the time to me. what sucks is your can never capture your thought like the first time you wrote it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this on a regular basis. I just went to another thread after I posted this one.. I typed up a nice little rant then came to my senses. That is so annoying.
Something else I find amusing.. I often type up a rather long post then go back and edit it down to like 2-3 sentences. As a rule when you read my post multiple it by atleast 3 and thats probably about what I wrote in the first place.

"Papers"? Are you crazy? I'm old - remember? We wrote everything on little chalkboards we carried around with us. Of course, since I left school in the 3rd grade, I didn't have to worry about carrying one around for very long. Whew!

Sadly, it has to be repetitious. I get the feeling your mother routinely needs to have things explained to her over and over before it starts to make sense.
I will never understand the glee she gains from getting people to respond to her. I think its just the response she gives when she has no other response for the most part.

Labret - I assume your just having a grand old time looking for a piss. I find no fault in that. You can answer this if you feel like it.. I have noticed that you seem to place a great deal of value on peoples education. Why is that? Haven't you ever met a stupid person that had advanced degrees? I don't keep the best track of peoples post so I might have you all wrong. Correct me if this is the case.
ClemsonTiger.. I didn't realize you were Peaches son. That will give you an idea of how closely I pay attention to things I suppose. Didn't we meet in Vegas on the show floor?
This will probably shock you, but I have held off a few times from posting... I spent time banging out a response, or slamming somene, and rather then hitting submit. I just went back. It is rare....
The thing I hate is after typing a great post, you submit and something happens and its lost.... that is a major pet peeve of mine!
