From an interview with Buffalo Bills GM:
"We've got a lot of work to do," Donahoe said. "I like a lot of things I saw with our offense this year. We have the potential to be balanced. We probably threw the ball more than we'd like to in the future. Our defense made some strides, but we have to get a lot better."
That doesn't sound like a man who's ready to open the vault for free-agent receiver Peerless Price. Letting Price go would help nudge the offense toward a more balanced approach and give Donahoe more money to improve his defense. If he brings in a couple of impact players, the Bills could be a legitimate contender next season.
