One good thing has come out of all these storms is that I have finally gotten friendly with my neighbors. In taking with them only about half of them renewed their Windstorm this year including the lady who just replaced her roof earlier this year.
I am soooo fucking happy that I renewed both my Windstorm and Homeowners this year that I can't even put into words how fucking happy that I did. I did almost let my Windstorm expire this year and at the last minute decided to renew it. On Thursday when they come to start on my new roof I'm going to have a warm fuzzy feeling all over as I write that 15K check to them just like I did when I wrote that 5K check to the tree people.
Today when I get home from the gym I'm going to start calling around for a fencing contractor and a drywall contractor. I've already hired a tiling contractor and am dreaming of wall to wall tile.
