I thought you meant state as in the US is a state, France is a state, "the state of Israel".
But anyway, nothing you've said changes the fact that we already live as a slave to our governments. We're so used to it we forget. I don't want to a wear a seatbelt. Do you really think it would be easy for me to petition my state and have the seatbelt law removed?
It's not like there are just 3 examples. There are thousands. We've become so used to them that most of us just think of them as common sense" now. Ever try and walk down the street naked?
