Of those more directly involved, probably Playboy, but with Flynt closing on 'em.

Playboy has that quasi-mainstream edge that opens up market to them that others do not enjoy. The magazine is on most newsstands. Their videos are often in video stores which true porn is locked out of. And they have presence in PPV on TV. Their one true weak spot is the web. They have all that great content and haven't figured out how to leverage it on the web.

And this is why I think Flynt is probably gaining. I suspect they trounce Playboy's numbers online. And they move a huge number of DVDs and videos now.

But I'm just guessing, I'd love to see some real numbers.
