ah, Joe, sorry you couldn't find retorts to my taking apart your articles

Serge, you took apart nothing. Here are a few of your errors:

"OVERWHELMING majority of americans and legal residents have no problems obtaining reasonably priced medical care" - Nothing to be proud of. Other countries do much, much better.

"and what it ommits that Americans pay 1/2 of what the rest of the world pays for gasoline" - WRONG!

"and what it mits that American tax rates are 1/2 of what the rest of the world pays to cover those 1/2 priced medecine." - WRONG!

greg, if you make 100k, and are STUPID enough to take it as direct salary income, then you get taxed to shit.

If you get paid dividends, your tax rate (effective) is about 20%.

If you make 100k or more a year personally (aside from whatever profit your business makes) you can afford a good accountant to structure things so you don't pay insane levels of tax.

It's all in how you do it.

For an individual, 47 cents in the dollar over $62,500.

But nobody with a good accountant actually pays that.
$62,500 AUD is $46875 USD

the rate at this salary is only 22%

you are right, you pay MORE than double in taxes

Most people earn much less than that. I have made some calculations for an individual making $25,000 a year.

Tax paid in USA: $3400
Tax paid in Australia: $3672

Quite a world away from double the amount.
hmmm..
let me do the calcs:
$25,000 in US salary, has $5000 deduction for single and 11% tax rate
thus the tax is
$2200

how the fuck do you calculate US taxes when you don't know shit about USA tax code?
;-)))))

Serge, it shows TAX REVENUE per capita. Go and take another look.

On a per capita basis, Americans are taxed MORE than Australians.

Serge it is not just income taxes but ALL taxes.

Also, please note that even when you take income per capita into account, you are still taxed more than we are.

Come on Serge where are your maths skills? You can work it out!

I'm going to bed and will let you ponder your ownage.
