it sucks even more.
e-mail list which would be banged ad nauseum and resold 3 times over is worth more than $1.5 per e-mail to the owner.

If I was webmaster - I'd collected e-mails for myself and make much more than $1.50 per e-mail.

4 Free Classic Payout Scale
$1.15 per direct signup.
$1.30 per direct signup if you generate over 100 per day.
$1.50 if you generate over 500 direct signups per day.

What is an 'authorization only' charge?

If it's free, why do you need my credit card or checking account?

Those are two valid questions and here is why we require either one.
J4F Premium offers a totally FREE lifetime membership so you can experience great content without having to pay for it. Unfortunately our
agreements with the content providers require we can only let users view
their content once they have entered a valid credit card or checking
account to access our member area. The only way to comply and please
the content providers, while still giving members FREE access was to do
an authorization only charge. This type of transaction does not charge
any dollar amount on your account, but verifies that the account is
valid; the person is real and knew the correct information that matched
the account information on file.

Though a credit card or checking account does not qualify to verify your age, and you are required to be 18 years or older, it does give the content providers peace of mind knowing they have some course of action should a minor be caught viewing any of their content.

Good morning Serge, these are all great questions, this one however stood out a bit so I will tackle it first; I just got in and am about to head to a meeting, however I will give this thread my attention all day.

Webmasters are more than welcome to create email collection programs, however utilizing email list is a tough world. I know you and Jordan go way back, however, in concern with your comment about the the list being sold 3 times over, that simply isn't true. We do not sell our email list.

Using all proper, legal protocol, I do not think most webmasters could make more money collecting emails rather than sending to our program. I feel the same about other programs.

You bring good points about difficulties of running your own e-mail programs by small webmasters, tough laws make it harder and harder.

But still, for somebody with the mind for innovations, those obstacles can be overcome and make it rather profitable.

In response to the “authorization” charge.

To be honest, I have no idea who wrote that. However, it is of course, only partially true.

The most direct response I can give in this situation is to say: We want the CC. Point blank, we want the Credit Card information, it is the life blood of a program such as ours. That Auth page explanation? We can rewrite it 100 ways that could all be true. That said, I don’t see that page as being misleading as I don’t think it persuades a user to submit a CC. It simply defines one reason we would take the CC.

I can rewrite that page over lunch. But I doubt it would make a difference. I am pretty sure that no one at Weg would trump me if I changed it. In other words, the page is not methodical.






For free content?

We offer free content in Join4Free, however, the ease of access is relative, and therefore I will not define it. I know one thing, we don’t make a living providing the best free porn on the Internet. We make money from consumers upgrading. This presents an all to common problem of balancing between “webmasters” and “consumers.”

We are not a perfect program; We could stand to improve our program for webmasters and we attempt to improve it every day. In the same respect, we are always attempting to improve the program for consumers. At the end of the day, we are trying to flush the program out as a whole so that webmasters make money and that consumers get what they want.

We can’t giveaway the farm for content no differently than we can’t offer $200 payouts and expect to profit.

Here are the key points: Webmasters are always paid even if the consumers never make us money. Consumers are never forced to sign up. If our “free” content is inadequate, the only entity that loses is us, because we already paid the webmaster.


We ensure that our program remains consumer focused in concern with the handling of emails, processing of transactions and consumer support. We do not ever sacrifice our business for profits. I have been here for two years; we have not sold an email list in that time. Our consumer disclosure and mailers are above and beyond in all compliance oriented obligations respectfully.





Why promote J4F over Free Trials?

Well, we have both options in our portfolio. We have our own merchant accounts and we see to it that those accounts remain unscathed. We have a history of doing such.

In our system, we process free trials with EZ Pass. We also have paid trials (I am currently building 2 new paysites that will compliment this portfolio). So lets talk about Free email, Free Trials and Paid Trials.

Where do we want traffic to go? Paid trials. Period. We will make more money for traffic that hits our paid trial sites, not too mention that we get a “proven transaction” out of the deal, as opposed to an “authorization.”

Where do webmasters want to send? Free. They have an easier time promoting free in many cases.

What is the incentive to promote Paid? Exclusive content. Hence, I am having content shot as we speak.

Now, why would anyone promote J4F over EZPass? Because simply put, they do better with the promotion methods that J4F offers. Do not get caught up in thinking that Wegcash is just J4F, I assure you, we do a great many straight Free Paysite transactions and we do a good amount of Paid transactions on a daily basis. However, we do have an elite J4F following.

Could I personally do better with J4F, rather than Free Paysite trials? No. But I am not every webmasters. If I could make the same money as many J4F webmasters make, would I then? Yes, I would. It is a different beast. J4F is a legacy beast in terms of this industry.

I asked for a lousy 5 FREE PICS URL I am entitled as a member. You gave 17 lines worth of text and ZERO urls. As a surfer, I suffered financial loss due to:
detrimental reliance violation by WEG which resulted in me joining pay sites to get to the content I was promissed for FREE and my credit card was banged 27 times. The word FREE was misleading and the promisses and covenants were broken.

FTC rules state clearly,

FTC vs RB and similar cases that UNSUBSCRIBE button should be easily available to members.
