Then there was some webmaster that stalked a model on cam chat , I believe Aga ended up banning them from Netpond.

Some real sleeze...

Can't remember who it was though...

Are you talking about when I got pissed off at that Jasonandalex webmaster support moron who kept trying to get my cam girls to do shoot "Movies" with him?

Everyone in there life has 3 chances to become a millionaire.
The art is recognising it the chance , and having the balls and determination to grab it as it goes by.

(I think it was said by Onasiss)

Another good one from him is...

"To become a millionaire you need a suntan and a good suit , with both you can pass through any door"

:)

If someone really wants to find out a model's personal details (or anyone elses for that matter) its probably not that difficult - 2257 or no 2257.

Sabby:)

True, but why hold open the door for them?

The model releases and ids and such would be kept secure and a content producer would have to provide a client with a special password to get to them.

The info that would be available to all would be the list of all aliases, the list of all media that the model appeared on, the list of all others who appeared with him/her, the list of producers that the model had worked with.

All the papertrail other than the ids and releases.

If you don't have ID and signed model release, then you really don't have paperwork.

The model security problem with your idea really rests in that it forces the content producer to determine whether or not the person buying the license is legitimate or not. Let's face it, it ain't that hard to buy a domain, go to a webmaster resource site, find a content producer, and tell them you're buying content for a site that is under construction.

Take your average adult webmaster tradeshow attendee, pluck them from that environment and put them into the general public on the sidewalk. Would you trust them? That's kinda iffy, if you ask me. :biglaugh:

And even if they ARE using the content and building sites does not mean they are not a freak either.

That was my whole point.

Almost every content producer I am currently buying from is providing pic ID and a copy of the model release with every set

True. Re-reading my post, I realize I misstated my point. The problem I see with a centralized database, while it has a ton of advantages, is that a webmaster (legit or not) could end up with access to model IDs from content that they HAVEN'T purchased. Way too tempting for some people who teeter on the edge of weirdness.

in my vision of the central database...the only people with access to the records would be the record keepers..i guess the people who bought or shot the content, and the inspection people...everything else would be an auto generated link which connexcts that content to the records

hell it would even save them money and time
i think new regulations have cost small busines around 700 million in the USA lately...ugh
