Spud and leek soup
Leg of lamb aspargus and yelolow button spuds.

Serge would have loved the wine list....

And reasonable(ish) too..

Having them send up a tray of assorted desserts (long on the choclate domes)

And 2 pitchers of hot chocolate.

Its a tough life....

Don't think the software is challenging to install or resource intensive (but might be beyond me)

Yay! Great to see the flat board back, albeit in this new incarnation.

Sorry I didn't post earlier, went to Jordie's athletics carnival today, then got home to find my net down...grrrr.

I voted in the poll...and was very pleased to be able to choose the first option and not the second (at least since the weekend!)

Sports day it is.

And extremely exciting too. Jorge has been trying to beat his best friend and fiercest rival in any long distance race for years, cross country since Yr 2 and 800m since Yr 3 (they're now in Yr 6), and finally today, he did it!

He beat Matt in the 800m event by about 30m. He was sooooo excited and Matt was thrilled for him too, they had a big hug at the finish line (very cute for two 11 yr old boys).

Your children really are fanatical about sports, it make a refreshing change to hear and it's a far cry from the yobs hanging around on the streets here.

Yeh Matt was very surprised...I kept thinking he'd do his normal sprint at the end and take the race, and he did try it, but by then Jorge had it in hand.

Only my boys are into sport, my daughter is extremely studious, and has a part time job, and is busy saving for a car.

My theory with the boys has always been tho that the more I keep them interested in sports, the less likely they are to be the ones hanging round the malls, and getting into drinking and drugging. But it's only a theory...I'll let you know how it goes in 10 years.

Dan's rugby team has also made it into the semi-finals, so the rugby season goes on for a few more weeks yet. No finals at Jordie's age.

Of course, none of the sport stuff is nearly as exciting as the fact that I finally got laid!

Some other lucky guy...it appears the secretary of the rugby club has been keen on me for over a year, finally confessed weekend before last. If only I'd known...we could have been getting it on for ages!

So last weekend, we took advantage of both being kid free, and well um, you can guess the rest.

He has custody of his kids too, so between us we have 6.

They all have known each other for years tho, and all get on...so maybe it won't be too much of a drama. Right now tho I couldn't care less...the sex is sensational.
