There's a line between doing what makes the sponsors happy and pissing off the people that have to endure it too. Those shouting banners on GFY suck. Fortunately I don't go there much, but please don't run me off of here just to kiss an advertisers ass.

I use mozilla and/or opera...and there was not a "floating" ad, so much as the whole front page was an ad for swappernet.
The annoying part is that I'm already signed up for that, so it does me no good, just makes this already-slow laptop move even slower. (My PC with EVERYTHING on it just died...waiting for the company to come pick it up for the warranty work and stuck with a p2 laptop!!!) |
