Actually i didnt find it to bad.

We bought it the other day when it came out and didnt have high hopes but we were suprised at the outcome

I liked it. Good adventure story. I like Nicholas Cage as an actor. If you want an older movie of his that is quite good that is more action style I suggest you check out Face Off with he and John Travolta.

I've got the "Directors Special Editon" of that on tape, comes with a hologram on the box cover and 15 minutes of extra film

thats on HBO2 right now and i had forgotten how awful it was

I like reading these reviews made by those who have actually seen the movies.

The opinions vary and are based on personal tastes. Not only that, but movies are mentioned, ones I forget about.

Now I know that National Treasure, at least, didn't suck. So many movies do.

I think Face Off was one of Travolta's better movies and I also enjoyed Get Shorty.

How was Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Watched this with the kids last night too - I agree, it was good - a little long, but better than I was expecting. Plus it got the kids interested in Googling a lot of history stuff - that's always a nice extra.
