What i don't understand is this: Why hasn't anyone shown up with a .XXX proposal with $10 domains, none of the horseshit, and the wide backing of the online community?

The current .XXX situation will end up tied up in courts for years, requiring a "donation" to a group is a real stopper. Charging 7 times the going rate for a domain is insane.

This one gets approved, and I will be looking for the door, because the online industry will die.

Easy to understand actually. It has absolutely nothing to do with "child protection" or the good of the internet. It's just a business plan.

This is nothing but a money grab and good old fashioned shake down plan.

And it could very well work, and they know it, because no one has any sympathy for pornographers. And you cant get 2 of them together to agree upon anything let alone organize themselves.
