ummmm... got some First Amendment issues here.. Im betting this is a political stunt and the good Sheriff of Nottingham Tom Dart is going to be running for office shortly on the "Im tough on crime" ticket.

Yea, that's what I was thinking when I first saw this. Didn't we already fight this fight, a couple years ago, with a different subject? And on Sheriff tough guy, I think you're dead on the nuts. Biggest thing in small government....balance budgets. So, "tough on crime, and I make the CRIMINALS PAY" gets many, many votes in small town USA. The timing is just a little too close for any other interpretation.
