Chi Lee Joins MadisonAvenue.com As Director of Sales

Ok, this is sorta semi-spam in that it's an announcement but I'm just so fucking stoked we FINALLY found the right guy for our company. It's been a year long search in which I've discovered it's abso-frikkin-lutely IMPOSSIBLE to find a local (I live in Manila, Philippines) to handle a sales department. So please forgive the post and help me celebrate this HUGE step forward for us!

MADISONAVENUE.COM WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES: CHI LEE

Long-time online advertising industry veteran Chi Lee (formerly of Adbrite/BlackLabelAds) joins MadisonAvenue.com as Director of Sales.

ATLANTA (November 18, 2008) – MadisonAvenue.com today announced the hiring of Chi Lee to the post of Director of Sales. Mr. Lee comes to the company with over ten years of experience in online ad sales and was most recently a top sales person for Abrite/Black Label ads. Now that he’s fully trained on the MadisonAvenue.com system he will take over managing all sales operations for the company and work toward a rapid expansion of the department.

“We’re so incredibly excited about having someone of Chi’s caliber heading up our Sales Department” says company CEO Marc Womack. “Chi’s a perfect fit for us: he exemplifies the level of customer service we’ve prided ourselves in for years and brings to the table such a vast knowledge of the industry.” continues Mr. Womack.

Company representatives say that Mr. Lee’s hire signifies the beginning of a rapid growth phase for MadisonAvenue.com. The company will be adding additional Sales Representatives and Sales Support engineers in the coming weeks. Mr. Womack goes on to explain that he will now work full-time with David Ross who is in charge of Publisher Support & Integration to rapidly grow MadisonAvenue.com’s network of Publishers. “We have a backlog of hundreds of quality Publishers who have created accounts but haven’t gotten up and running with us and now that we’ve found the perfect person to head up our Sales department, David and I fully expect to be able to double the amount of traffic available to Advertisers on a monthly basis” said Mr. Womack.

Mr. Lee added that he is “incredibly excited about the growth potential of MadisonAvenue.com. I’ll be growing our Advertiser base which will make it all that much simpler for Marc and David to grow our Publisher base”.
