AEBN's Scott Coffman Named FSC's Man of the Year

Interesting you guys think this is well deserved... many in the DVD side are not happy with a president of a VOD company and the guy that launched PornoTube getting an award like this.

I will be there on Saturday to hear his speech. I am interested in hearing what he will say about the state of the industry and the role AEBN will play in the future of it.

And I am not taking sides in this... its just interesting to see the different points of view.

And I won't get into tube sites either (as they are a mixed blessing, not one-sided IMHO), but for DVD folks NOT to do VOD -- or to be against VOD -- is like when movie studios got pissed at the other movie studios who first embaissed VCR over theatres - Dumb!

Or when the music industry were once against audio tape cassettes. Or as bad as Viacom being against Internet streaming. It's another vehicle for money, damn it!!

The thing is, I can excuse mainstream for being morons. I can NOT excuse porn people for not seeing another way to make money. That's supposed to be what they excel at!!!

I think everyone is going to be interested in what he has to say.

Consumers evolve and change.
