I said the only way you could obtain a Mac address from another machine would be to have a program installed on that machine which obtains and then posts the MAC address back to you. Are you now implying that Gonzo has SPYWARE on Oprano?

Changing my tune? PLEASE. The original context was a web app and client. You turned that into "get mine right now" (like a 14 year old). I stated that you can get it from a TCP packet. There are many ways to look inside a TCP packet. No one was talking about spyware, you FUCKING IDIOT.
There are many ways to look inside a TCP packet. What is known as "spyware" (I know you don't even know the actual definition of it) CAN be ONE of the methods used to obtain this information.
