A for niche. There is no one "best" niche. The best niche is one you can convert well. Some people just can't convert soem niches cause they don't understand it. |

The real question is what are the types of affiliates other than those with and those without traffic? TGP masters? Blog masters? SEO masters? Spam masters? Free site masters? Gallery masters? Domain masters? A lot of affiliates are all of the above and will try anything that generates traffic. Only a few seem to stay in only one or two categories. Domainers, SE types, large TGP owners, etc. The guys who find something that they are really good at tend to rinse and repeat within what they know well. I think most of your whales would fall into this category. Everyone would love to land a whale, but whales also dont change sponsors very often either. They have long standing relationships and as long as the sponsor takes care of them and the money flows for both, they are not prone to experiment. I will say that my desired type affiliate is basically one who is willing to do a little work and try things for himself. The ones who I'm not sure will continue to have a place in the industry within the next year or so are those who want the sponsors to do everything for them. They basically are creating an opportunity for the sponsor to eliminate them as the middle man. If you are paying staff to do 90% of the work, why not just bring the other 10% in house and eliminate the guy who wants to know if you'll even put the website up for him... |
