Maybe it's just part of your personality to pick at people over and over and over and over and over again. For years I'd only seen you do it to people you didn't like/respect. Then you started doing it to me. I got the hint. You acted like NOW you knew what the problem was and it would stop. It hasn't. It continues here and on other boards.

well, with all your board whining I figured it would be nice to know the back story, gonzo explained to me what was happening and why, and that is it

that isn't talking behind your back, that is explaining what was going on....you bring a lot of "waaaahhhhh" to the boards, and that is all people see, so it is only natural for people to wonder why you "waaaahhh" so much

I could not for the life of me figure out why someone would hold a grudge or be whining for this long about something that didn't seem like that big of a deal, and even after gonzo explained to me what happened, I still don't understand why it is such a big deal

get over it, shit happens, move on...no one hates you, no one trashes you behind your back, no one has said anything negative behind your back from what I have heard. The only thing I have heard anyone ask while you aren't there is "why is she hanging on to whatever it is for so long? why not just move on?"

everyone that I talked to likes you very much and there are even a couple of people (me included) that miss you immensly when we get together

if you want to ponder jokingly moving to alaska and act like everyone hates you and always talks behind your back when you aren't there, then so be it, but just know that it isn't true, it is mostly in your head, and not one person has any issues with you, and most of all, we are all just trying to figure out why we aren't good enough for you anymore.

Uh, actually I'm pondering visiting Alaska during the time you guys are going to be in Tunica/Memphis, lol. In fact, I'm looking for an itinery right now. I considered moving there almost 2 years ago but it's way too expensive to live where I'd want to live. I'd like to rent a place for about 6 months starting in the early spring though and I've taken steps to do so.

Sorry it sounds like I'm whining. Gonzo and HP knew that they were pissing me off and continued. I just got tired of it. Not really a big issue. Since I've said nothing to them except to just leave me alone, I find it interesting that Gonzo "explained" to you what happened. Personally if I had been Gonzo in that situation, I would have said it was a private matter and let it go at that. Your comments about things make me realize even more that I was right in my decisions, but TBH, that's bridge was already mostly burned.

I'm almost 45 years old and after my son died, I learned that life's too short and it's best to spend time with people you share a reciprocal respect for and enjoy being with. I have those friends

And Jace - trip to Alaska is set. Miss Eve and I will be doing "Best Ever" things and HOPEFULLY I won't end up in a ditch while driving from town to town and I'll get to see the Northern Lights.

Last time I went it was daylight almost all the time - this time it will be dark almost all the time.

I actually envy you, I have been dying to visit alaska since I was 20 years old

The wife ain't having it though, she doesn't have the need to travel and see beautiful things like I do, unless it is the beach....the irony of it all, is that the beach is in my top 5 things that I hate

My brother travels extensively. Has been to every state, most countries in Europe and pretty much everywhere except Australia and Africa.

He still says Alaska is his favorite place. I fell in love last year. It's just gorgeous.

It gets warm there in the summer. Not so much as you'd need AC (none of the hotels we stayed at had AC - windows opened and there were ceiling fans) but no "beaches" I don't think.

Now I'm organizing my glacier flight tour. We took a cruise to one last year and walked near one but never took a flight. I'd hike one if I wasn't so incredibly out of shape.
