Survey Time: Models in Boys Underwear

Hey yo...

It's survey time again.

The FFN's have been having some heated debates this weekend. When shooting models, you're always looking for outfit, location, theme and costume ideas. I mean how many ways can you strip a girl naked?

We came up with an idea for a set for the comic book crowd. The idea is get some comic theme underwear and put the model in them, in this case, Batman. Now they dont make these for girls, or at least we couldnt' find them. Adult male undies are too large. So we get boys undies.

The idea here is skimpy boys briefs that are way too small, come out nice and tight on the model, a similarly themed t-shirt is way too short and just covers the breasts.

No pigtails and lollipops here, NO one in their right mind when they see this would think we're trying to make a girl look like she's under 18. Yet, one of our fellow FFN's says we've gone pedo and just cant stand the idea that we'd have something that was intended for a child anywhere near a porn shoot. I say this is fucking stupid, we're not appealing to pedo's, we're going after guys who dig comic books (the ones over 18 at least!).

Well...you already know MY opinions on this but I'll share them with the peanut gallery:

When you take an 18 year old girl and put her in something that someone YOUNGER than 18 would wear or put her in an environment that someone YOUNGER than 18 years old would be in, you've not crossed a legal line, just a moral one to ME. But we know I'm the prude in the biz.

18 year old girls do everything they can to look older in real life, not younger. Ergo, you're not portraying a true 18 year old by putting her comic inspired Underoos. That's what 10 year old girls wear and young boys wear.

By putting a technically legal 18 year old in clothing that depicts her as under 18, ergo illegal, I think you're crossing dangerous lines. Ditto with the wearing of the kids Halloween costumes and posting on playgrounds - again something REAL 18 year old girls wouldn't be caught dead doing.

Go to any mall and look at the 18 year olds. They are trying to look 24, not 12. Yet you are filming them in cartoon character underoos - little boy ones at that.

But once again, I am not your target demographic - men who want to see girls that are technically legal but are dressed as children are

I fully expect to be in the minority here

You're completely blinded by the idea of something intended for kids being in porn.

We're not trying to make anyone look under 18. There's no way any rational person would look at a pic like we're describing and go "oh, she's wearing underroo's, she must be 12!". If I put on a pair of care bear panties will you think I'm 12?

And I could give a rat's ass what an 18-24 year old wears to the mall. What I care about is what might make a guy sitting at home surfing the internet get interested enough to pull out his credit card.

Oh, and by the way, the model showed up wearing a kids spiderman watch, and we had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with that. Just a weird coincidence.

Again, this is just NOT a line I'd be willing to cross, both as a parent and friends of parents with 18 year old daughters. You're not depicting a true 18 year old when you put them in little boy's underwear - you're depicting a child.

Morals are a personal thing, most of us are way on the outside of what "normal" people find acceptable by the mere fact we're marketing porn. I'm thinking it's going to take a shit load of duct tape to achieve that. And you certainly aren't trying to make her look like a |itt|e gir| - you are, after all, using boys' underwear. So, um...what am I missing here?

Would there be the same amount of objection if you were putting 20 year-old male models in girls' panties, with their big hairy balls hanging over the edges?

Yup, exactly right.

But there seems to be a knee jerk reaction, at least from some parents, that anything that remotely reminds them of a child shouldn't be anywhere near porn.

To me there's a huge difference between being playful like a child and trying to pass someone off as a child to give the pedo's something to spank their meat to.

There are plenty of sites out there that do exactly that though, really go after the 18 year olds that could pass for 15-16 and do the whole pig tails and lollipop theme. I should check the Oprano sponsor list before I name names though....heh.
