Would you leave your friends for wealth?

I would be happy if I had any friends, and NO I wouldnt trade a friend
no matter how much money I had/have/don't have.

Being a cop, you don't exactly make friends easily.

I briefly had a son-in-law who was a cop. My eldest informed me that her fiance had asked her "your mother doesn't mind that I'm a cop?" I rather boggled at the question. Do I mind that my daughter is hanging with a guy who has a gun and the authority to use it to protect her? Uh...NO. But he was actually worried. Now he's an ex-son-in-law, but still a cop. He's also around and they stayed more or less friendly, depending on the day, the phase of the moon, or whatever.
