You'll find that we tend to rib each other a lot, being someone's bitch or refering to someone as a homo, is always in fun. Try not to take things too seriously around here and you'll get the hang of it. Morgan, he didn't understand, be gentle.

So, you and Morgan are fags. Got it.
Just to let you know right up front, I don't mind punks but I aint into that stuff myself. What a couple of fags wants to do is up to them. I don't understand it much, why anyone would bait the monster like that but I aint looking for no trouble neither. I know fags aint in charge of this thing though. So you two work for Nick or sumthing ? |

Should you, however, decide you want to impress me, you'll spell correctly. It's "dyke" in that usage. The term "fags" has, to the best of my knowledge, only been applied to males. Usage of the words denotes homophobic tendencies indicative of repressed homosexuality, but that is neither here nor there. My aim is merely to tutor you in the correct use of the language, even bigoted collogquialisms. "Punks" is an interesting term, however. How long were you in prison? In no particular order: I am not "Nick's bitch," despite some lively rumors to the contrary. I only started two of them myself. (The ones where he's screaming "you're the best I've ever had." The tacky ones belong to someone else.) Red is "my bitch." However, as we are a continent apart - and even the gloriously endowed Red doesn't have a bosom that thrusting - our sexual contact remains in the imagination of the reader. We try to provide said imaginations with as much fodder as possible. The only time Dravyk has ever been described as "muscle," the noun has been modified by the adjective "intetellectual." When we rumble with words, we send Dravyk in. He puts on a black leather jacket, snaps his fingers and sings the "Jet Song." It's quite effective. I hope the above has assisted you.

(I got a "MMMOOOOOMMMM!!!" yesterday that curled my blood. I had to go rescue my 26 year old daughter - from a *dead* spider. Now, I admit I have the creepies over a species of bug or two, but the subcategory known as "bug corpses"? Uh...no.) I'll be spending the rest of the day trying to figure out why dictionary.com gave me two contradictory definitions of "homonym." In one, sound *and* spelling have to be the same but definition different; in the other sound *or* spelling have to be the same and definition different. There really should be a law. (Points to anybody *besides* Drav and Red who can tell me why I was thinking about this in the first place.) |

Heteronyms are words that are spelled identically but have different meanings when pronounced differently, usually through accenting different parts of the same word. For example: Lead, pronounced LEED, means to guide. However, lead, pronounced LED, means a metallic element. Heteronyms are specific types of homographs in which the different pronunciations are associated with different meanings. Basically, words with one spelling, but two pronunciations and two unrelated meanings. Homonyms are words that are spelled and pronounced the same but have different meanings. In other words, Homonyms are words with one spelling and one pronunciation, but two unrelated meanings, such as bear or left or just or pole. Homographs are words that are spelled the same but differ in meaning, derivation, or pronunciation. Basically, Homographs are words which have one spelling but two pronunciations and two distinct meanings or usages. For example: Consider the word tear. Does it rhyme with pear/pair/pare? Or with hear/here? Homophones are words that are pronounced the same but differ in meaning, derivation, or spelling. In other words, Homophones are classified as words with two spellings and two meanings, but only one pronunciation. For example: Like pear and pair. And pare. These words are spelled differently but sound the same. The English language is riddled with such aural ambiguities. |

You do, as a matter of fact, waste a great deal of time with words. I will allow you the small dignity of attempting to figure out what I just said on your own. You won't, of course, but many others will. (Note to others: no points, please. I hate it when it's this easy. Usually.) Quote:

I prefer my name capitilized, if holding down the shift key doesn't tax you too greatly. In the subculture jargon you insist on using - innappropriate thought it may be - "aggressive femme" is an oxymoron. (I will pause while you research.) Back yet? We shall continue. I am definitely assertive. I am situationally aggressive. This, however, is not one of those situations. I'm afraid the other "femmes" would not find me fitting to be one of their number, for reasons too numerous to list here. Quote:
