Well I can agree with that (though not being a WASP). And had I known it was a sore point, I'd have never gone there.

Funny thing, if he had not mentioned it recently, I would have forgotten he was black. And -- before I get in needless trouble for this -- it wouldn't have mattered. I do not try to "remember what color someone is", because really, it doesn't matter. I don't "see" color or "think" color. I "think and see" a person. Period.

Now I'm only mentioning it because I would have made the little cartoon guy the color white or biege or yellow (by not remembering) and then I would STILL have put all that goofy shit on him. Identical!!

Again, he made a silly, bad, foolish looking cartoon of me, and I was only getting Timon back. The color issue is what HE put onto it. No more, no less.



Oh and .... I'm Black Irish. That should count for something, no?
