Well it's nearly 5:30, dark out already and the little moochers, I mean, darlings will be here any minute. Time to fork out the cavity makers!

I actually miss that element of Halloween. I enjoyed it when we lived on the flat, arranged-in-squares streets of Louisville, but up on this dark, dangerous hill, we don't get trick-or-treaters.

Thusly, my house is candy-free. Really a good thing, though. I've lost 7 pounds on my first "Weight Watchers Week."

Happy Halloween!!!

I have to send my husband out to get candy just in case we get any little kiddies. We just moved into a new community and our neighbor said that he's never gotten any trick or treaters but I want to be prepared just in case.

And if there's no kiddies then that means more sweets for us!
