WEGCash Accounting Office without power from Hurricane Wilma

WEGRuth · 10-26-2005

As many of you know, Wegcash operates outside of two main offices: One is located in Orange County, California while one is located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

While our Marketing and Programming teams operate from Orange County, our accounting office operates from Miami-Dade County. The wake of Hurricane Wilma has left our Florida location without power, inadvertently effecting our payroll system to both Webmasters and employees of the company. We have taken measures that we hope will avoid any webmaster payout lapses.

We have temporarily moved our accounting team to central Florida and we have our office in Orange County working tirelessly to process the payments. In the event that a delay in payouts does occur, we would like to apologize in advance and express with all sincerity that we are working relentlessly to expedite the process.

Without power to our Florida office, it has created a very difficult strain on our accounting functionality. However, we are aware that public officials in Florida are working fiercely to provide the region with much needed power; for that, we extend our gratitude and also send our best wishes to all those effected in the region.

We will keep you updated. We thank you all for your understanding.

Thanks and Best Regards!

Updating this one since it's a sticky:

All domestic wires are going out today and international tomorrow.

No bull! That is absolutely amazing, guys!!!

No one would (ok, some fools maybe, but) ... no one would blame you under the circumstances of being a little late and yet ... BAM! ... you still pull it out and deliver!!

Only a top-notch company like WEG is capable of that. And since it's WEG, I shouldn't be surprised. But ... I have to admit, even for you guys, I am a bit surprised as that is indeed quite an amazing feat!!

Thanks everyone

Just an update - All checks, wires and ePassporte payouts have been released as of Friday Ocober 28th, 2005.

So everyone should now be paid - thanks again for your patience and understanding!

Hi, Ruth!

You guys simply rock. There will be a lot of very happy webmasters out there, glad they're promoting your company.
