I adored Medford. Mountains, forest, rivers, fresh water lakes...I thought it was gorgeous. After reading way too many British mysteries, I used to have a fantasy about living in a small British cottage, with a garden, near a village. I've been assured by British friends that this place exists pretty much only in those books and my imagination. Shame.
