Personally, I'm loving the new Nickelback right now...(and I'm guessing you're not because you're an old fart.) ![]() the hip is classic stuff and anyone would be hard pressed to say that Sarah McLachlan isn't talented. ![]() The point of the list was to show that the music here isn't "so shit"...it's not just all Anne Murray and Celine Dion.

My youngest always watched the Candian version of MTV (it may not have been called that, I don't remember what she called it) because she said not only were the veejays (if that term is still used) funnier and better, the music played was fantastic. I recognized a lot of names on your list because I've bought them from "dear Santa" lists. She preferred Canadian television in general. I'd wander in, watch some teenagers dealing with life and mutter "damn, that was good," and she'd mutter back "of course it is, it's Canadian."

I'm a die hard 1980's aceeed house man that likes techno, so a new addition to my tastes is rare.

I really enjoy Nickelback. Creed also. I think of them in the same breathe because they remind me a lot of each other.
Anne Murray ... well, hmmm ... It's that next to the Maureen McGovern album?
