Note: I can tease Nick about this because there is absolutely no way I'd get on a plane anymore. I had almost conquered my fear of flying, then this really big thing happened, and that was the end of that. No planes, no more. If I can't get there by car, bus or train...I don't need to be there.

Its actually a good way to get over fear of flying..learn to fly.

I used to fly all the time.

Like 5-8 times a week.

Then I stopped and realised I hated flying.

Its not so much the flying ( or the crashing) its the hassle of it

I still fly when absolutely necessary.

But in preference I'll sail or drive.

I LOVE going transatlantic by liner..it is THE only way to travel.

Though Concorde was cool

Before that, though, the more manageable cruise to Alaska. I truly want to do that. I want to see icebergs and Beluga Whales. Alaska is one of the few things that would get me into a plane. Certain parts of it are like Sabby's cleavage: best viewed from above.
